Trying a New Activity

Enabling People to Flourish and ‘Live their Best Lives’

Trying a New Activity

Person we support, T, had a conversation with support staff around trying a new activity. Support staff asked Tif he had ever tried building an adult Lego set and T advised he was unaware they existed and would like to see them. After a browse of the sets available, T agreed to try 2 car sets, one was a car from Fast and Furious and the other an F1 Mercedes racing car which Lewis Hamilton drives.

T thoroughly enjoyed making both sets of Lego, especially the F1 car as he is a huge fan of Lewis Hamilton and F1 racing. T required staff to support him throughout the activity, staff guided him to identify the correct pieces, and to follow step by step.

T was very proud of his achievement. Well done, T!
